The guidelines will no doubt aid researchers to navigate actions toward evidence - based response. Pandemic Preparedness, Prevention and Recovery (PPPR) has been identified as an essential tool that can be explored for early detection and rapid response to emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases. It includes effective disease surveillance at community and healthcare facilities, case management to understand the occurrence and distribution pattern of infectious pathogens, resource mapping and mobilization, simulation exercises, stockpiled, and repositioning of vaccines, diagnostics and therapeutics cannot be overemphasized in the control of Covid-19 and other infectious diseases.
